about
This acid house track is my tribute to composer Mr. Charanjit Singh, who returned from Singapore to his hometown of Mumbai in 1981 with a Roland TB-303. After countless hours of struggles, he won the battle with this strange gray box and decided to use that synthesizer to make an album in which he would interpret Ragas as the electronic disco music of the day.
Although this decision resulted in a commercial failure in 1982, he succeeded in creating a brand new musical genre, Acid House, with his album "Synthesizing: Ten Ragas To A Disco Beat" This visionary perspective and bold approach impressed me deeply. After listening to the album numerous times, I have asked myself, what could the 11th song of the album sound like if it was composed? Now I'm sharing it with you.

The sound of “NOW! 2073” is also the sound of 1983: laser-like minimalist electropop that flirts with coldwave and dance music. Bandcamp New & Notable Dec 4, 2021
